One thing comes before privacy on a site about gas, so it goes at the top of this page as well as every other one.

Read this first

If you smell gas, leave and call 911 or the utility from outside rather than telephoning here. After that: a call records a ZIP code, the work you need and the number it came from, and there is no form anywhere on the site.

GaslineSafe is a referral service, not a contractor and not an emergency service. If you suspect a leak, leave and call 911 and your gas utility — not us. Otherwise we connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands, and gas work is separately licensed in most of them; every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check. We carry out no work, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

Leave the building, take everyone with you, and from outside call 911 or your gas utility’s emergency line. Do not stop to find the leak, do not use switches, and do not call us — we route repair work, and a suspected leak is an emergency for the people who can shut the supply off.

We are not the utility and hold nothing they hold

Your gas utility knows your address, your account, your meter and your consumption. We know none of that and have no route to it. We are not connected to any utility, we cannot look up an account, and nothing you tell us reaches one.

The reverse is also worth saying: we cannot report anything about your property to a utility, an insurer or a municipality, because we do not know which property it is.

What a call to this number records

The routing platform keeps the number you dialed from, the start time, the length of the call and the general area it came from, so the call can reach a contractor who covers that area. There is no form anywhere on this website, so a call is the only way it can receive anything about you.

Who hears it

The contractor who answers, and nobody after them. What you say about the appliance or the line is what they need in order to arrive prepared.

We do not sell contact details to unrelated parties and we do not build marketing lists out of calls.

The pages, and deleting the record

These pages are static, set no cookies of ours and carry no advertising trackers.

To have a call record removed, write to hello@nxtaflow.com with the number you called from. It is the only thing the record is filed under.

For repair work, not for a suspected leak.If you can smell gas, leave and call 911 or your utility from outside; this is the wrong number for that.
